Ladysmith police are appealing to the public to assist them with the investigation of a fraud case.

On November 9 last year, a woman entered a local furniture store and bought several items on credit.

Fortunately, the business did not hand over the items immediately and a routine check on the identity of the buyer revealed that something was wrong.

It was discovered that the buyer had used someone else’s ID document to buy with.

Police are eager to interview the individual depicted in this photo and believe she could assist them in the fraud investigation.

Anyone who may know the whereabouts of this person is urged to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant MZM Zwane, at Ladysmith SAPS.
