Bakkie crashes in Jantha Street
The driver and a passenger were treated on scene and then transported to hospital
A bakkie crashed this afternoon (February 2) in Jantha Street, Acaciavale.
Travelling from Protea Drive and turning into Jantha Street, it is alleged that the driver of the bakkie lost control of the vehicle and veered completely off the road.
The bakkie went up a small embankment, crashing into some rocks.
Sharaj Ambulance Services, Public Safety and a breakdown service responded.
The driver and a passenger were treated on scene and then transported to hospital.
The vehicle was towed away.
Many other motorists travelling on the road slowed down to see what was going on and if they could help in any way.
