Today is Carrot Cake Day, so take a bite

If you're on a diet and worried that Carrot Cake might be bad for your health, don't worry because carrot-sweetened confections are healthy!

Today (February 3) is Carrot Cake Day, meaning that one could spend the entire day just trying out different versions of carrot cake and indulging in the decadent flavours.

Carrot cake is a lovely creation that evolved out of the Medieval favourite called carrot pudding. Through history when access to sugar was nonexistent or very hard to come by, people used sweet vegetables to make their desserts sweet.

If you’re on a food diet and worried that carrot cake might be bad for you, worry no more because carrot-sweetened confections are actually pretty healthy!

To celebrate Carrot Cake Day, you can pay a visit to your local bakery and find their version of the recipe. Either a slice or a whole cake, it’s up to you! It’s carrot cake after all.

So, go out there and get yourself that carrot cake you’ve been longing for, and bite a big chunk out of it without guilt!
