An outstanding round of 78 by the Club Captain, Marc Bradbury, saw him finish on a net 66 to not only easily win the men’s B division Mug for February but also the men’s Mug of Mugs for 2016.
Debbie Catlett finished on a net 73 to win the Ladies B Division Mug for February and also to be crowned the Ladies Mug of Mugs for 2016. The men’s A division Mug for February was a tight contest on Saturday, as both Walter Du Plessis and Mandla Mthethwa completed their rounds on a net 68 to see them compete in a play-off, with Walter winning the Mug on the first extra hole.

The ladies C division Mug was won by H Hlongwane. There were four players who scored 11 or more points on the jackpot holes to earn themselves a little extra cash, and they were; W du Plessis, W Maritz, D Scholtz and R Khumalo. The 2 Club prize money was shared between D Scholtz, C Mkhwanazi and R Khumalo. Last Wednesday the Business League saw a result in all three games played, with Farmtrac remaining unbeaten after defeating OK Value 44-42. Morning Dew Chickens overcame Farmers Agri-Care 41-38, while The Shed were victorious 45-43 in their game against Deb’s Embroidery. These results see Farmtrac top of the log with 4 points followed by Morning Dew Chickens and The Shed both on 3 points. On Saturday, the Club’s Valentine’s competition will be combined stableford with a hidden partner.
