‘Armed Forces Day’ vehicles drive through Ladysmith

The vehicles seen driving through town have come from around the country and are using Ladysmith's 5SAI army base as a place to refuel

‘Armed Forces Day’ vehicles were seen driving through town today (February 10).

Armed Forces Day will be held in Durban during the course of next week. The event consists of all four armed services that make up the South African National Defence Force (SANDF), namely the South African Army, South African Air Force, South African Navy and South African Military Health Service.

The vehicles seen driving through town have come from around the country and are using Ladysmith’s 5SAI army base as a place to refuel before continuing through to Durban.

In Durban, the ‘Four Arms’ will hold capability and other demonstrations.
