Strelitzia lays the table for quality and charity

Malan learned to play the piano at the age of four, and had the opportunity to attend master classes with top music professors from Israel.

DRAKENSBERG – In eager anticipation of spending time with like-minded friends, women met at Drakensberg Vallei Church to enjoy a morning tea, hosted by Strelitzia Women’s Institute, on Saturday, February 4.

Guests were treated to astonishing piano recitals by 11-year-old Malan du Plessis and his brother, seven-year-old Naudè, who proved they were worthy recipients of numerous awards for their top-notch piano skills and talents.

Malan learned to play the piano at the age of four, and had the opportunity to attend master classes with top music professors from Israel.

Naudé soon followed in his big brother’s footsteps, and learned to play the piano at the age of three, also winning awards in various national competitions.
