Update: 7 fatalities, including children, in horror crash

Seven people, including children, lost their lives in a horror accident in the Scheepersnek area just outside Vryheid on Saturday morning (February 25).

Two light motor vehicles and a truck were involved in the crash.

Five people were declared dead at the scene.

A sixth person died while medics were trying to resuscitate them, and a seventh person is said to have died on the way to hospital.
