Morning taxi collision leaves three injured on Steildrift Road

NEWCASTLE – Three people sustained injuries after two taxis collided on the Steildrift road this morning.
One of the vehicles overturned after the impact.
According to Jan-Henk van Vuuren of TRIVS medical services, the injured were stabilised on scene and taken to Madadeni hospital for further care.
The cause of the incident is still unclear at this stage, and will be investigated by the South African Police Service.
