Ladysmith: Warning to motorists travelling to Pretoria, the N1 and other major roads are blocked as truck drivers protest against Eskom

Motorists travelling from Ladysmith to the Gauteng area are warned of protests between Johannesburg and Pretoria (N1), as coal transporting trucks are blocking four major highways.
The N1 North, R21 North, N14 North and N4 North are blocked by hundreds of trucks, as drivers protest.
It is uncertain what the protest is about, but it is alleged that Eskom has announced that they can no longer guarantee transport companies contracts for transporting coal.
