OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU: WO Naidoo still in critical condition at a Newcastle hospital

WO Naidoo's friends and family asked residents to keep him in their prayers.

Warrant Officer, Sasha Naidoo is still in a serious and critical condition, and remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

WO Naidoo was stabbed in the left inner thigh on Tuesday (June 27) while attending to a complaint in Madadeni.

His friends and family asked that residents continue to keep him in their prayers.

The Newcastle Advertiser is aware there are rumours circulating that WO Naidoo passed away, and would like to notify everyone this rumor is in fact untrue.

The overwhelming amount of false claims on social media platforms is upsetting to family members, who have requested residents to discontinue spreading hurtful information.

Residents are also hereby notified that a mass prayer will be conducted for WO Naidoo and his family tonight at The Pines Wedding and Conference Centre.

The prayer will commence at 8.30pm at the Thatchers Hall.

Pastor Zane Taggart will conduct the prayer.

All residents are welcome.
