SPCA raises awareness for Mandela Day

It was all about raising awareness and promoting adoptions when the SPCA celebrated Mandela Day at the Pick ‘n Pay Boulevard Centre.

Committee members were manned a table at the centre, educating people on how they could get involved in helping the SPCA as well as trying to find loving homes for the adorable animals at the SPCA.

Numerous donations were also received in the form of cash, toys and food for the animals.

Members also drummed up support for their second Mandela Day event, to be held at the SPCA on July 29.
