Health Department to investigate illegally dumped medical waste

Curious children who come into contact with the syringes could be in danger

An Estcourt resident made a prickly find while on his way from home last week.

A rubbish bin on the sidewalk in Victoria Street was filled with syringes and medicine vials.

The resident said that the major concern was that the dumped medical waste was about 100 meters from a primary school.
