The ‘shell’ of a bus caught fire this afternoon (November 3) in Burma Road.
A large crowd of motorists and residents living in the area stood and watched as the bus, no longer in working order, was engulfed in flames.
Thick smoke filled the air in the Leonardsville area.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
The Ladysmith fire department and Public Safety were on scene.
