Duo arrested for eight housebreaking cases

The Umzinyathi Task Team, investigating housebreakings, have made a huge breakthrough.

The Task Team recently arrested Siphiwe Zulu (24) and Njabulo Ziqubu (26) who have been linked to eight housebreaking cases in the area.

They have both appeared in the Dundee Magistrate’s Court. Station Commander, Colonel Nyide, commended the work done by W/O Jagath, Const Buthelezi, Const Bhengu and Const Mlambo.

Capt Mbense urged the community to contact the police on 034 299 9700 or 08600 10111 if they had any information on people breaking into houses.

The police have also asked residents to report any stock theft-related crimes to them by using the stock theft number, 034 932 9880.
