Student helps to try and stop illegal dumping in Ladysmith

They suggested measures such as having more lighting in certain places as a deterrent

Together with DA councillor Valentino Murugan, she and her team of activists recently worked together and did their bit by cleaning up a large area of land that has been hit by illegal dumping.

Ashleigh and her team have submitted a list of ideas to Public Safety, detailing measures to prevent dumping from taking place.
