Girl Guides give back at Dundee Hospital
The youngsters, who are all a part of the girl guides, recently raised funds so that they could do something special for the sick children at the hospital.
You don’t need to have a big bank account to help someone less fortunate, you just have to have a big heart.
Ziphezinhle Manyathi, Jazlyn Cele, Amahle Madela, Angel Mndaweni and Lwanele Khumalo definitely proved that they have big hearts.
The youngsters, who are all a part of the girl guides, recently raised funds so that they could do something special for the sick children at the hospital. As part of the Girl Guides, they were tasked with giving back in some way to the community for a project. The girls immediately thought about the sick children who are admitted to the hospital and went about raising funds to buy them something nice.
They only managed to raise R130, but made sure it went a long way as they bought chips, sweets and cakes for the sick children. In total, they treated over 12 kids.
“We know that other people don’t have the same things in life that we have, so we wanted to help them in some way,” the girls said.
This is the third time that the girls have done something for less fortunate children and plan on doing more in the years to come.
