At their weekly meeting held on Wednesday, the Estcourt Senior Citizens Club members gathered for an informative and festive afternoon.

To commemorate World Diabetes Day held on November 14, information was shared about understanding diabetes, diabetes and hypertension and diabetic foot care.

The members also participated in light exercises under the guidance of physiotherapist Selochana Naidoo.

Thereafter members were treated to a sumptuous lunch of mutton breyani with the accompaniments as well as dessert.

Nanda (55), Veron (53) and Monica (50) celebrated their birthdays in November and decided to give back to the club that their parents have been members of for years.

The piping hot lunch was enjoyed by all who attended.
