Thieves burgle, vandalise church

The thieves even helped themselves to food in the kitchen

The congregation at the Dundee Methodist Church were shocked to find their church and adjacent hall vandalised and burgled this morning.  Entry was gained through windows that had been smashed.

First reports suggested a guitar, microphones and a microwave had been stolen.  The thieves had the temerity to make themselves toast in the kitchen and eat from a can of beans.

This is the second time in three weeks that the church has been burgled.  The hall was broken into in the first burglary and food also eaten by the thieves.  Police are investigating.
