Michaelis learners excel at athletics

Saturday February 24 was an early start for Michaelis teachers and learners as they were going to Wittenberg for their annual Inter-School Athletics. The weather played along and it was a beautiful day in the stunning setting of Wittenberg.

We are very proud of all our athletes who took part, but in particular of our trophy winners, who truly pushed themselves to the next level. Four of the six trophies were taken home by Michaelis pupils, how fantastic! Mini Victrix and Victor Ludorum were Owami Mthethwa and Nala Shabangu and the Senior Victrix and Victor Ludorum trophies were won by Sazi Mdletshe and Cado Bwato.

Congratulations to all of you! We would also like to thank Wittenberg for hosting this well organised event and all our parents who travelled and worked on the day, your help is much appreciated! We look forward to the Inter-School Athletics Meeting in Lüneberg next year!
