On January 29, 2024, Red Crescent volunteers received an emergency call. A five-year-old girl was trapped in a car that was under fire from Israeli forces in Gaza, pleading to be rescued. As they tried to keep her on the line, the volunteers did everything they could to get an ambulance to her.
Her name was Hind Rajab.
