Ready, steady… cook!

With the sound of the fires crackling, the learners started chopping away at the vegetables and preparation of the other secret ingredients

With the sound of the fires crackling, the learners started chopping away at the vegetables and preparation of the other secret ingredients that would go into their pots.

The smell of the pots cooking help inspire the teams to work together and design a poster and “War Cry” that would best represent their team and of course their scrumptious potjiekos.

These war cries definitely had all the learners and supporting parents well entertained. Water relays kept the learners busy during final cooking time until Mr Jordaan arrived for the long awaited taste test.

Well done to the “Cook Stars” for having the best pot of the day. This really was a great day for all the learners as well as the family members that joined in on the event.

A big thank you to Mrs Londt and her team for all the preparation to make this day awesome.
