Michaelis Schule excels at Hermannsburg Olymiad

Hermannsburg, Michaelis and Deutsche Schule Durban participated in the annual Olympiad.

ON the morning of Friday, March 2, an excited team of pupils departed for Hermannsburg to take part in the annual Olympiad.

The gala took place on Friday morning after all the learners had settled into the dorms.

After lunch, the junior and senior boys and girls played mini cricket.

In the evening, the Grade 11’s entertained the pupils on the field.

On Saturday morning, after breakfast, everyone attended a devotion where God’s love was explained.

It was then time for soccer. The kids thoroughly enjoyed this. The day came to a close with a parents’ soccer match followed by prize giving.

We would like to congratulate Tracey Steffensen on winning the Victrix Ludorum trophy for swimming. We would also like to thank Hermannsburg for their hospitality and all the parents for travelling there and supporting us. We look forward to next year’s Olympiad.
