GALLERY: Sathya Sai School walks for values

Through the establishment of a garden on the grounds and other community work, the school has stayed true to its motto of: love all, serve all.

In an age of declining values, one school is holding to its moral code.

Learners of the Sathya Sai School embarked on the annual Walk for Values on Friday morning, following a route through Lennoxton in an attempt to inspire values in others.

Principal, Suriya Maharaj elaborated on the event.

“This is a school of values. The walk exists to expose our school’s values to the public, and encourage them to learn more about the school.”

Maharaj explained children possessed innate values, yet it was up to the school to bring them out through teaching.

This is the inspiration behind many of the school’s ongoing projects.
