Women robbed and raped in Sibongile

Crime continues to spiral

Two men entered a house in Sibongile in the early hours of Sunday and robbed two women of their cell phones valued at R2 000. One of the men then assaulted and raped both women. No arrests have been made.
In other crime news, a man robbed at knifepoint in MacPhail Park
Two men armed with knives approached a man walking in MacPhail Park and robbed him of his chainsaw and cellphone valued at R13 000.
There has been no let up with the ongoing burglaries either.
A shop in Victoria Street was burgled on Friday afternoon when a burglar cut through the roof of the shop to gain entrance. Cigarettes, airtime vouchers and cash estimated at R260 000 was taken.
