Bowlers say sad farewell to Gentleman, Mr T

This past Saturday the club hosted a fun chicken run in honour of Brian Taylor AKA Mr T who will be relocating to England at the beginning of April.

On Human Rights Day, Wednesday, March 21, the club hosted a fun bowls afternoon. Teams were selected and then changed around to make things interesting. Nonetheless, a great afternoon was had by all. Congratulations to Tewie Wessels on being the overall winner and thanks to Sheryl Hesom for sponsoring the prizes.

This past Saturday the club hosted a fun chicken run in honour of Brian Taylor AKA Mr T who will be relocating to England at the beginning of April. Mr T has been an active member of the club for many years so it was great to get together and play the wonderful game of bowls as a little send-off for him. As always there’s always a first and last position. The stone went to Greg, Brian and Welda with Ian and Lyn winning the day -congratulations. Mr T and Tannie Alida were also given a prize for their long-standing membership. Thank you to Mr T for sponsoring the day.
