UPDATE: Date for bail hearing has been set for suspected gunmen in Jaco’s armed robbery
Their formal bail hearing is set to take place on April 4.
Three suspects arrested in connection with the armed robbery at Jaco’s Engineering appeared in court yesterday (March 27).
Mzwakhe Sibiya (28) from Osizweni, Zimele Shelembe (31) from Osizweni and Professor Kunene (30) from Vryheid have been charged with armed robbery with aggravating circumstances, attempted murder and using a motor vehicle without consent.

The men appeared at the Vryheid Magistrate’s Court yesterday to verify their addresses.
Their formal bail hearing is set to take place on April 4.
Three other suspects are still at large and the Vryheid SAPS are following leads to have them arrested.
