Mrs Sibeko was selected out of thousands of entries received by the organisation, which hosts this prestigious charity event.
The shy yet bubbly woman attended ML Sultan Estcourt Primary and Drakensberg Secondary schools in Estcourt.
She is currently employed at the Winterton South African Police Service.
She also worked in Ladysmith as an investigation officer at the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit, after which she transferred back to her home town. The 32-year-old is backed by strong support from her friends, family, co-workers and greater community.
“I’ve always wanted to change people’s lives, and with my job I get to do that. With many of my victims and suspects, I like to dig deeper than what everyone else sees,” she explained with a great amount of passion.
This year Mrs Sibeko decided she’s going to get out of her comfort zone and try something new and that is how she entered Mrs South Africa. She was awe- struck when she was announced as a top 100 finalist.

“What I love about the competition is that they welcome you as you are. I don’t even wear any make-up. I go there having washed my face with soap and used an ordinary lotion,” she shared with a chuckle.
“The competition is for women of every type of woman; married, with children, plus size ladies with their stretch marks – that for me, are all real women,” Mrs Sibeko added.
Tammy Taylor Mrs SA is not just a beauty pageant; it is a women-empowerment programme.
“Women don’t have to forget their hopes and dreams, women aren’t restricted to house work and have to wear an apron all day,” she concludes with her glowing smile.
Mrs Sibeko not only hopes to help women find their purpose in life but also to contribute to their talents with the platform this competition gives her.
