ATM scams continue
A man was scammed out of R3600 when his bank card was cloned while using the ABSA ATM on Victoria Street last Saturday. Later, he received notification that money had been withdrawn from his account from the Capitec ATM in the Boulevard Centre. There was a similar incident at an ATM on Karelandman Street days later when a customer’s bank card appeared to get jammed in the ATM.
He later received an alert that R2000 had been fraudulently withdrawn from his bank account.
