Learners removed from DJSS as chaos reigns

Chaos reigns as learners are moved from school

As tyres burn in the background, hundreds of learners were evacuated from Dundee Junior Secondary School.

The decision was made to move the children to a neighbouring school until their parents can pick them up.

Angry parents have threatened to burn down the school and have already taken to burning tyres and trees outside the property.

The Department has still not responded to the crisis.

Parents attempted to carry out pieces of prefab, promising to burn it.

Others were chanting ‘burn it down’.

Nembile Security guards stop them before they could get it out the school.
