Durban outing is thoroughly enjoyed by Estcourt Senior Citizens Club members and visitors

Club Chairperson Mrs Nandan said that everyone was in good spirits ahead of the trip and this extended throughout the entire trip

64 locals boarded a bus at 6.45am on June 3 for an outing to Durban. They included members of the Estcourt Senior Citizens Club as well as non-members who joined them for the day.

Club Chairperson Mrs Nandan said that everyone was in good spirits ahead of the trip and this extended throughout the entire trip.

Their first stop was the Vishnu Temple in Chatsworth where members were warmly welcomed by the temple staff.
Here it was a time for prayer and offerings as well as a walk through the temple.

Next up it was time for shopping and the group made two stops at Gateway and Cornubia Mall.

“The members and non-members really enjoyed Cornubia Mall and even requested extra time for shopping,” commented Mrs Nandan.

The final destination was Sibaya Casino. Here the group enjoyed their time there either gambling or taking in the sights.

“The club would like to thank all the non-members for supporting us and we look forward to your support in future. Members and non-members are already asking about their next trip,” added Mrs Nandan.
