Petrol price might increase again in July
The increases have been attributed to the rise in oil prices and a weaker rand

Motorists are undoubtedly feeling the pinch after the petrol price increased on Wednesday by 82 cents a litre.
And if things remain as they are with the rand/dollar exchange rate‚ South Africa could be hit with another fuel price hike next month (July).
This is the view of Layton Beard‚ spokesperson of the Automobile Association of SA (AA)‚ who added that this warning is still speculative.
On Wednesday (June 6), the retail price of petrol shot up‚ pushing the petrol price to above R15 a litre; the third consecutive fuel hike this year.

Diesel now costs 87 cents more and paraffin is up by R1.09 a litre. The price of LP Gas has increased by R1.38 per kilogram. The increases have been attributed to the rise in oil prices and a weaker rand.
We’d better cross our fingers and hope another increase in July is NOT on the cards!
