Estcourt Primary School learners embark on a Big Walk

The aim of this event is to raise funds for Estcourt Primary School

Close to 750 learners and educators took to the streets on Friday when Estcourt Primary School hosted their annual Big Walk.

Learners and educators departed from the school in good spirits at 8.30am and made their way through the central business district to Lambert Park.

“We’re all set for the Big Walk.”

Here the learners enjoyed their lunch, and rested while taking in the natural surroundings. Thereafter it was time to get back on the road and head to school.

The aim of this event is to raise funds for Estcourt Primary School and when everyone was back at the school, it was time to award learners who collected the most amount of money via their donations forms.

The top ten learners received prizes. 2018’s Big Walk was a great success with the school reporting that everyone had fun on the route.
