PREVIEW: ‘Boss Baby’ rules Bonga’s heart

The Vryheid Herald has discovered AbaQulusi's no nonsense municipal manager's biggest weakness.

Being the municipal manager, Bonga Ntanzi is respected and perhaps even a little feared, as the person who cracks the whip at AbaQulusi Municipality.

Bonga has embraced his role as ‘the boss’ and has made it his mission to ensure that staff are working efficiently to render services in the area.

His ‘take no nonsense’ demeanour is only intensified when you come to know that behind that suit and firm handshake is a 4th Dan black belt, an expert karateka who has competed at an international level.

He is powerful, he is strict, he is strong… But he is not invincible, and the Vryheid Herald has discovered his biggest weakness.

She calls herself, “Boss Baby,” after the animated movie, off course. Bonga is putty in the hands of his youngest daughter.

“We are inseparable and her favourite movie is ‘Boss Baby’. She is the ‘Boss Baby’. When she wants something, she can get me to leave everything at any time, and do it. I gladly submit to her demands,” admits Bonga.
