Police are taking no nonsense today as they aim to quell protests threatening to disrupt the area.

A group of riot police officers are gathered outside the Municipality along with traffic officers, in anticipation of any action.

A group of officers are also stationed outside the hospital where a group of protesters were attempting to gather.

VIDEO: Police put an end to blocked road

Officers are also clearing out the Greytown Road following the protests in that area.

Traffic officials and police are breaking up any gatherings before they build.
