Egerton Primary School pupils took on the annual Polar Bear swim on Thursday (June 21).
The entire school came out to show their support to the ones who were ready to brave the icy waters.
The water temperature was checked just before the swimmers got into the pool and was a low 11.5 degrees.
The learners went in grade by grade, with the rest of the school counting them before they took the plunge.
As soon as the children got out of the pool, they were given a cup of hot chocolate and stood next to a crackling fire that was lit for them.
The day was enjoyed by all who attended, even the spectators.
