Granny marks Youth Day with a special birthday party

Her family treated her to a celebration to show their love and respect for her.

Youth Day was marked on June 16 but for Agrineth Manyathi it was a day to celebrate for a different reason.
It was the day to mark her 92nd birthday.
This grand old lady was born in 1926 in the Masontheni area, Nquthu, where she also schooled.
She had eight children of which four are still alive, 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Granny Manyathi now lives in the Springbok farm area, in the Dannhauser district, and enjoys good health even though she is confined to a wheelchair.
Her family treated her to a celebration to show their love and respect for her.
