Round Table Winter Knights soldier on against the winter blues
According to Ncandu 86 Round Table President, Karl Niebuhr, the initiative was initially devised as a concept whereby Round Tablers would wear light clothing outdoors to experience the winter cold, and feel what those less fortunate experienced during the frigid months.
Winter Knights is a home-grown and proudly original concept, which has been active since 2010 under the direction of Round Tablers across the globe.

According to Ncandu 86 Round Table President, Karl Niebuhr, the initiative was initially devised as a concept whereby Round Tablers would wear light clothing outdoors to experience the winter cold, and feel what those less fortunate experienced during the frigid months.
“Members of the public could then come and show their support and concern by donating blankets, food and warm clothing.”
With winter setting in, Ncandu 86 Round Table members have urged Newcastillians to open their hearts, and help those less fortunate than themselves.
Niebuhr said items desperately needed during the winter drive were as follows:
Winter blankets,Warm clothes and shoes, and non-perishable food.
“Members of the public who wish to contribute to this cause can drop off the goods at Mortimer Toyota on Allen Street.”
“We are pleading with members of the public to come support us, as all funds raised will be used to purchase more blankets and warm clothes for the needy. We look forward to a massive turnout on the day.”
Niebuhr thanked everyone who was already involved in making the project a success.
