DSS Class of 2018 working tirelessly through school holidays

Educators have focused on revision aspects that assist learners in understanding and correcting aspects that they find challenging.

Mid-year break is normally a chance to take a break from the daily grind of homework and studies but for the DSS Class of 2018, it is just another chance to knuckle down to serious work and prepare for the final examinations.
While the rest of the teachers and learners take a break the grade 12 educators and learners of DSS have been conducting a full-scale winter programme that begins at 8:00 am and concludes at 2:30 pm every weekday.
Educators have focused on revision aspects that assist learners in understanding and correcting aspects that they find challenging.
All subjects offered at the school are featured in the winter study programme and learners have turned out in their numbers. Educators and learners are determined to improve on the previous year results and judging from the first quarterly performance DSS results are set to improve.
