Home Meah to host baby competition

Home Meah, in conjunction with Studio Elle Photography, the Newcastle Mall and the Newcastle Advertiser, will host the first ever Home Meah Baby and Toddler Competition as a fund-raising drive for the home and its residents.

For Home Meah, every little child living at the home is beautiful, and every child’s life matters.

For that reason they have been serving Newcastle for many years as a child and youth care centre, by providing a home for abandoned, neglected and abused babies.

This year Home Meah, in conjunction with Studio Elle Photography, the Newcastle Mall and the Newcastle Advertiser, will host the first ever Home Meah Baby and Toddler Competition as a fund-raising drive for the home and its residents.

The home currently takes care of 20 babies, and with that devoted care comes many expenses. Home Meah Management felt it was the perfect time to host such a fun, fund-raising competition.

For the next eight weeks (from July 19 to September 13), Newcastle parents will have the opportunity to submit a photo of their baby in different age groups, and win great prizes.

Entry forms will be available in the Newcastle Advertiser for the next few weeks, entry forms can be dropped off at the Newcastle Mall. All photos must be taken by a professional photographer and must be A4 in size, at R100 per entry.

Jacques Breedt of Studio Elle Photography will set up a pop-up studio at the mall to take photos of babies for the competition.
