Kean Broom at the helm of Treverton

As the Head of English, Kean very soon established himself as a highly respected member of the College team

Following the resignation of Dave Cato, Treverton is pleased to announce the appointment of Kean Broom, current College Deputy Head, as the acting College Head with effect from July 1, 2018.

Kean joined the Treverton staff in 2015 from St Alban’s College in Pretoria. As the Head of English, Kean very soon established himself as a highly respected member of the College team.

His passion for teaching and instinctive love for the outdoors and adventure have added great value. In January 2016, Kean was appointed College Deputy Head and made a seamless transition into his new role.

Kean’s responsibilities have included heading up boarding and student discipline. In both these roles Kean has been calm, astute and thoroughly professional.

His dignity, compassion and sincere desire for students to develop holistically have been guiding principles.
Kean is a committed Christian with a deep-seated belief in and love for Treverton.
