Estcourt learners to share a pint of blood

If you are older than 16-years, weigh more than 50kgs and lead a healthy lifestyle, you meet the requirements to donate blood

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) calls on all learners within the central business district to help them save lives by donating a pint of blood.

Roll up your sleeves and donate blood.

The SANBS team will be visiting three high schools and encourage learners and educate to roll up their sleeves in aid of this worthy cause.

If you are older than 16-years, weigh more than 50kgs and lead a healthy lifestyle, you meet the requirements to donate blood.

• Estcourt High School on July 30.
• Estcourt Secondary School on August 1.
• Drakensberg Secondary School on August 2.

All the scholar blood donor clinics will begin at 9.30am and end at 2pm.

Remember, if you are donating blood to have enough liquids from the day before and eat a full meal ahead of the blood donation.

Parents are invited to join in to share a lifesaving pint alongside their children.
