Golfer Jo easy winner of Monthly Mug
The Wednesday 10 hole competition attracted eight golfers only to once again see Jo Khumalo coming out tops to win the meat hamper.
Twenty-eight Dundee Country Club golfers competed in Saturday’s Monthly Mug competition for August which saw greenkeeper, Jo Khumalo, shooting a level round of 71 to not only win the prize for the best gross score but to easily win the Men’s A division Mug with a net 68.
The Men’s B division Mug went to Mandla Mthethwa with a net 71, while Lorien De Wit won the Ladies B division Mug, also with a net 71.
The Ladies C division was won by Hlengiwe Hlongwane.
Five players managed to record a 2 Club, and they were: Kallie Roets and Aaron Mbatha on No.4, Jo Khumalo on No.8, Walter Du Plessis on No.12 and Billy Francis on the 16th hole.

This coming Thursday is a Public Holiday, so let’s see a good field for the Wednesday afternoon competition and there will be a 4 B.B.B.
