21 new blood buddies at Estcourt High School

Mr SM Dawoonarain would like to thank the learners who remained behind after school hours to support the worthy cause

The first learner blood donor clinic for the third term was held at Estcourt High School last week Tuesday.

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) team set up their stations and got straight to work, collecting 44 units of blood.

54 learners attended and supported the blood donor clinic, 21 of which were welcomed as new blood buddies. The target was set at 37 pints of blood.

Blood Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain would like to thank the learners who remained behind after school hours to support the worthy cause.
