Learners march through the streets of Ladysmith

Educators also took part in the march and kept an eye on the learners

The learners at Acaciavale Primary School (APS) staged a Women’s March last week Wednesday, walking the streets in the Acaciavale area.

The children made their own placards stating “No women abuse”, “Break the silence” and other messages as they took to the streets.

Public Safety officers were present to make sure the learners were safe on the roads.

Educators also participated in the march and kept an eye on their charges.

It definitely was a morning of good exercise and great fun!
