Police have released the name of the attorney found shot dead in his car on the Sunset Rest road on Sunday morning.

He was Mongezi Gqoboka (38) of Vryheid who also had an office in Dundee.

He was found in his Toyota that had rolled into the middle of the road near the over head railway bridge.  He had suffered three gunshot wounds in the head and neck area.

His seatbelt was still fastened and the keys were in the ignition.  Mr Gqoboka’s cellphone was still on him, police said.

Several leads are being followed.
