Quality stock on show at Dundee Sale Yards

Quality cattle and sheep were on show at the Dundee Sale Yards when the Dundee and District Farmers Union hosted their Annual Quality Slaughter and Stock Show.

In the cattle section, the Supreme Champion was shown by Mari Bruyns, the first lady farmer to hold the title.

The Reserve Champion was shown by KM De Jager and Sons.

The heaviest was a 6-year-old Bonsmara, weighing in at a whopping 1 135kgs. He was shown by FJ Meyer and son from Helpmekaar.

In the sheep section, the Champion was shown by Robinson Farming.

The Reserve Champion was shown by Dreykon Farming.

There were also pigs and goats on show and up for sale.
