Action Cricket
A new season of action cricket commenced over the past week with an exciting format change. The social league remains but Dads and Lads (father & son combinations) and mixed pairs (4 males and 4 females) per team has been introduced.
The Sarel Cilliers action cricket team in the social league got to a brilliant start winning their first game against Dannhauser. Captained by Hardus Van Eeden the best skins pair was Johan and Ruan with Ruan being the pick of the bowlers.
In the mixed pairs, Hardus and Ruan dominated with the bat while Ayush impressed with the ball. Although the mixed pairs team lost they gave an outstanding performance. Well done to all concerned.
