Shoplifters strike but are swiftly apprehended

Three shoplifters have been arrested and charged after chancing their luck in stores around the town.
One woman was arrested for attempting to steal a pair of takkies and three pairs of shoes from Jet. The security guard noticed the woman walking towards the door with items in her bag. When he asked her to produce a slip, she could not. She was then arrested and charged.
A man was arrested for attempting to steal a chocolate from Charlies SuperSpar.
A security guard on duty noticed the man take a chocolate and hide it in his pocket. He then attempted to leave the store. He was stopped and searched and the chocolate was found hidden in his jacket pocket.
Another man was arrested for attempting to steal sandals from Power Fashion Shop.
The man entered the store and took a pair of sandals to the changing room. When he returned, he didn’t have the sandals with him. As he attempted to exit the door, the alarm went off, alerting security. He was stopped and the sandals were found in his possession.
