Safe bombed as crime wave surges

Police are still on the scene

Some may call it the start of the silly season but for Dundee it is just the continuation of a crime wave that has gripped the district.
Following on last night’s cash heist of a G4S van on the Dundee/Nquthu road, the drop safe at OK Value, in the Dundee taxi rank, was bombed last night.
Investigators are still on scene and the shop is cordoned off. It is not yet clear as to how much money (if any) was taken.
