Thanks to the generosity of a Johannesburg non-governmental organisation (NGO) All Blue, learners from five schools will have new school uniforms and shoes for 2019.

Ward 19 Councillor Nyanda Mchunu contacted the NGO and requested donations for children from needy families. A positive response was received.

Vukasekusile High School received ten pairs of shoes while Cornfields Primary, Chievely Primary, Indulwane Primary and Thembalihle Secondary schools each received 20 pairs of shoes.
Sanitary packs were also distributed to the high schools.
